Graphics looks like shiit, the gameplay, however, looks awesome.
The Wii is the new PS2, without the good games.
Good news, 2009 is already full of awesome games, beside if it's gonna take them that long to fix the first game faults, I don't mind waiting.

I used to love RE, but then came RE4, which was an awesome game, but it changed the whole series and I hated it for that, now RE5 is basically RE4 with better graphics and 2 players, which is an even bigger insult to the franchise than 4, yet, even if it's 4 with better graphics, it can still hold up as "good" game, people calling it broken are just over reacting...
But I do think it is a disappointment, especially for the fans.

Take more time with it my butt, they have the review code game since late December, they already had their time with it.
The thing is, well, take a look at N4g's front page, see how many Killzone 2 reviews are there, now imagine one more review, now what's the chance that someone who came here looking for a KZ2 review to read would go for the one from GameSpot? I know they are a big site and all, but there are way too many other big site...
The original PS2 had no heating problems at all, yet PS2 slim was like a heater, you would have to turn it off because of the heat after playing for "just" about 5 hours...
Now MS haven't fixed the 360 heating problems completely until Q3 2008, just imagine what king of a bomb a 360 slim would be.

I get the feeling that HHG gets his news from N4g, especially from "news" articles that has a question mark in their title.
Seems that the PS3's 2009 list of exclusives is growing.
You just think that because you haven't read any of the articles where Sony said their main Competition is with MS, or the article where Nintendo admits that competing with the 360 and PS3 in term of traditional games would be hard(back in 2005 or 2006).
Also, there's another reason why you think that, but we're not allowed to discuss it here in the gamer zone. :)

Also, last time I checked, there wasn't a Black, Asian(in a none Asian game), Arab, Indian, scientist, Military General, etc... that isn't stereotyped, yep more than 90% of games are that shallow, it's not just about gays.
Just take a look at fighting games, their whole concept of a character is based around stereotypical characters, the Mexican wrestler, the sexy girl with cleavage, the American solder... and the list goes on.

Sure there was LBP, Dead Space and... and... nothing else I can remember right now, other than few Xbox live/PSN games, 2008 highlights were Fallout 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, Fable 2 and Far Cry 2, how can anyone call it the year of new IPs?
At least 2009 has Bayonetta <3, Heavy Rain, Infamous and hopefully MAG and Allan Wake.
MGS4 already did, and not even Gears of War 7 would surpass that.
